Hi, I’m Angela. Welcome to Oh She Glows – an award-winning recipe blog featuring over 500 healthy recipes (and growing)! For the past 6 years, I’ve shared energizing, plant-based recipes that my family and I enjoy on a daily basis. My goal is to inspire you to embrace more plant-based foods in your diet without feeling the least bit deprived. And yes, my recipes are great for meat-eaters and picky kids too! Most of my recipes are gluten-free and many are allergy-friendly (just check the recipe for the allergy info). My first cookbook, The Oh She Glows Cookbook (released March 4, 2014) is a New York Times Bestseller. It was also selected as Chapters/Indigo’s BOOK OF THE YEAR for 2014. It features over 100 plant-based recipes (including 85 gluten-free recipes) using real, whole food ingredients. The book also contains over 100 full-page, full-colour photographs shot by yours truly!

Hey there, I’m Hannah Queen, baker and photographer. I live in the Appalachian mountains of North Georgia, and I love Jesus. I like simple things, fresh ingredients and flowers, tea with honey, good music (mostly folk and bluegrass, big band and classical), trips to the farmers market and early mornings. I’m the happiest when I’m in the kitchen, creating something tasty, and when I’m behind my camera, taking pictures of everything I see.

Jenny: I’m originally from Chicago , IL. (yay midwest!) I always prefer salty to sweet. I have a jack russell-dashchund mix named DEXTER who lives in a canvas teepee lined with a lambskin rug! I love Michael Jackson and have driven to Neverland Ranch multiple times when I lived in Santa Barbara during my college years. I have a hard time sitting still and relaxing. I LOVE to go bike riding. Beach over mountains (usually). I will drive hours for a great meal. I’m a caffeine junkie. I was a vegetarian for 3 years. […] Teri: I would rather be invisible than be able to fly. I love pizza, and I think hot dogs are amazing. Traveling is the best, but I always wonder when they will figure out how to make flights 1 hour tops. CJ Craig is probably my favorite TV character. I am originally from Boise, Idaho and yes, I love potatoes. I studied graphic design for three years. I graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a degree in commercial photography. I have a thing for whales and dolphins.

I started this blog in 2010 and named it after my sidekick, Cookie. Now, we live in Kansas City and work on this blog full-time. I love my job! You should know that I’m totally obsessed with food. I daydream about new recipes. I devour cookbooks (I even wrote my own). I read up on food policy and nutrition. I love photographing food and hope my photos inspire you to step into the kitchen to cook a delicious, healthy meal. Above all, I love eating food, especially while in the presence of good company. Welcome to Bakerella.com. I started this website to help keep track of my baking and decorating attempts. I got the bug after taking an introductory cake decorating class and just haven’t stopped. The site focuses on fun and easy baking. It’s a place to explore recipes, desserts, decorating and even photography with a few giveaways sprinkled in along the way. Hi! I’m Adrianna. This is my blog where I share my favorite recipes and random tangents about life with you all. Thanks for being here. This blog is fueled by copious amounts of rap music, sugar, butter and flour. I first started this blog when I was working a job that left to be desired in the creativity department. After a few years of plugging away, I was able to leave and now I do it full-time. YAY! The recipes I love to make are ALWAYS comforting and cozy and often times are inspired by my Latin-American background. My mom is Peruvian and my dad is Colombian. You’ll find some traditional classics from both countries as well as a bunch of mash-ups that hopefully aren’t offensive (I was raised in the US, after all). The Smitten Kitchen in its current physical incarnation is not the worst kitchen we have ever had, a kind of half-galley with a wobbly, peeling cart used as a cooking surface. What it lacks in cabinets, a dishwasher that doesn’t leak and refrigerator that doesn’t freeze everything in the back, it makes up for in streams of light from the door on the side that goes to [drumroll] a terrace, where I attempt — with varying degrees of success — to grow tomatoes, herbs and whatever other mystery seeds my son finds at the playground and sticks in the soil. What you’ll see here is a lot of comfort foods stepped up a bit, things like bread and birthday cakes made entirely from scratch and tutorials on everything from how to poach an egg to how to make tart doughs that don’t shrink up on you, but also a favorite side dish (zucchini and almonds) that takes less than five minutes to make.
